PASS PLUSAfter passing your practical driving test additional driving tuition is very strongly advised by the DSA as a means of reducing the number of road accidents suffered by inexperienced drivers.
"Pass Plus" is a government approved course that is certified and may also save you money on car insurance premiums. Find out more by asking your instructor. Isobel's Driving School is "Pass Plus" registered. The reason that your car insurance premiums can be so high is because statistically young or newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident. In fact, in the first year of driving as many as 1 in 5 new drivers are involved in some kind of accident. Pass Plus is made up of six practical modules which include: Driving in town Driving in all weathers Driving on rural roads Driving at night Driving on dual carriageways Driving on motorways Anyone who holds a full UK driving licence is eligible to take part in the scheme. You will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually assessed. On successfully completing your training you'll be sent your Pass Plus certificate to claim your discount on your car insurance policy.
